Copying and Moving Photos Between Folders

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Chief Editor ONLY function.

Sometimes photos are uploaded to the wrong folders or you want a photo in two folders. You can easily copy and/or move photos to other folders.

1. Log in and select Photos.

2. Select the folder where the photo(s) is located.

3. Select the photo(s) you want to move and then click on Move Selected.

4. Use the dropdown filters to select the type of folder, the name of the folder, and the school year. If you want to leave a copy of the photo in the current location then check the box. When you have selected the location for the photo(s) select Move.

I lost a teacher photo. Can you help me find it?

    Hi Heather,
Open the section the teacher portrait was in and select the "View Deleted" check box. You can restore from there. If it's not there, check under the couch cushions and in your jacket pockets. If you still can't find it, open a ticket and provide as much detail as you can so we can help you look. ;)

I would like to delete a photo from the Add to Photos section. How do I select the photo and delete it? I tried just double-clicking on the photo and that did not work.

Hi Karen - When you log in and go to Photos, click on the folder which contains the photo. Find the photo and hover over it so you can see the "i" icon. Click on the icon and select Remove this Photo. Or you can click on the photo to select it and remove it by clicking on Delete Selected in the lower right corner of the box.

I am not able to select a photo and the "move selected", "delete selected" drop down menus don't exist for me. I am simply a grade level editor, not one of the overall editors. Is this a permissions problem or maybe a problem with how they created the folders?

    Hi Brenda,
You guessed it. It's a permissions thing. Only Chief Editors have this capability.
