Can you upload more that one picture at a time?

    Hi Haiden,
Yes you can. Hold down the CTRL key and select all of the photos you want to add.

Why does my folder show zero photos, but when I click on it, it shows the photos I uploaded. Also, the photos are showing on the "Around Avenues Middle School" pages, but my name is not on my photos. How do fix that?

After I upload a picture, it appears that the picture lost resolution. Will it print with it's actual resolution?

  • Avatar
    Aaron Greco

Yes, we always print with the original image file's resolution. We show a thumbnail of your image to make pages load quickly.

Is there some way to add photos above 12MG? Our schools professional photographer has sent the pics over and many of them are over 12MG....

Hi Amy, Unfortunately there isn't. However, if you have photoshop there are some easy ways to get the files under 12MB.
    Set DPI to 300
Set Dimensions to not be greater than 4,000px
    Save as JPEG
If you can't do either of those or it's still not under 12MB create a ticket and attach the files and we can help you out.

I would like to add pictures from my schools group Facebook page. However when I click the Facebook link, it goes directly to my Facebook photos. How can I get to my school's photos on Facebook.

    Hi Jennifer,
Facebook doesn't give us access to "Pages" only personal accounts. We're working with them to see if we can make it an option.

Hello, I am going to be laying out majority of our pages and then uploading. Brady told me that if I do it this way to upload the entire page, not separate pieces. However the background alone is over 12MB. Once I place the kids' photos the spread will be huge. How will this work?

    Hi Marina,
Are you using InDesign? If so, follow these directions:
    https://treering.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201676604-How-to-Export-Your-InDesign-File-as-JPEGs

If file size of a spread is still over 12MB let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Yes, I am using InDesign on a mac. I did export for the background jpeg. I just spoke with Stephanie who said she'd get more info and give me a call back. Thanks for your info. I'll try what I can on my end but I am certain the final jpegs I export for the spreads once I get all the images in are going to exceed 12MB by a lot. All of the images I place are high resolution.

If you export as 250 DPI it should be under. The beauty of the export is that because it is one image file and not a huge layered file the end result is a reasonable size. Keep us posted. Another option is to save as pages rather than spreads.

Hi, I am on a MAC using Safari and I can not seen to select multiple images to upload. I have a folder with over 50 images—how do I upload multiple files at once? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Jason,
Holding down the COMMAND key should allow you to select multiple photos from your MAC to upload.
Here are step by step instructions on photo upload.

When I pick the photos I want to add for my free custom pages it stays on the upload screen and does nothing. Even left it over night and still didn't do anything. Any hell will be greatly appreciated since tomorrow is the last day. Been trying to do it all week. I was told it was real easy.

    Hi Alisha,
This is most likely one of three causes:
    1) Network or computer security software is preventing uploading photos. You can try uploading from a different computer or from a different internet network.
    2) Out of date browser/flash player plug in. We recommend using Google's Chrome browser or the latest version of Internet Explorer that both have the flashplayer built in and stay up to date.
    3) A corrupt image file. Are you trying the same image file every time? If other photos work, but not a specific one, it may be corrupt. You can send the offending image to us and we may be able to recover it.

I will have to check. Internet network is fine. Has to be 2 or 3. When you say corrupt what do you mean exactly? Also what time tomorrow is the deadline? (Central time) or is is tonight at midnight?

  • Avatar
    Aaron Greco

Corrupt can mean "having or showing a willingness to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain," (smiley) but in this context I mean the file may have errors on it which is preventing our system from uploading it.
Midnight local time is the official deadline

Lol, yeah I meant in that context. That sucks. I'm not gonna have time to figure it out. There's always next year. Thanks so much for your help though.

I have downloaded the app onto my iPhone, but when I try and log in it says "Unable to Sign In - the internet connection appears to be offline". My connection is working fine as I can get into any other site. What do you think the issue is?

  • Avatar
    Aaron Greco

    Hi Loree,
My apologies for this issue. It is a compatibility issue with Apple iOS 9. We have a fix submitted to Apple and have been waiting a week and a half for them to approve and update our app in the app store... You'll receive an alert from the App Store as soon as it is updated.

Just wondering how to "crop" a memory or image once on the page. it doesn't seem to have an option to do that (ie facebook pictures are imported with a caption that i would like to get rid of). Or I would like to make something that is square, rectangular.... no crop option that i can see?
