Creating Custom Pages (Chief and Staff Editors)

As an editor, you know how to work on core book pages but if you are a parent or a student you will also want to work on custom pages.

1. On the left side of your homepage you will see Viewing:. Your school name will show in the dropdown bar.

2. If you are a parent, use the dropdown bar to select your child's name. All of your children at the school will be listed in the dropdown. When you select your child you can purchase their book and create their custom pages. If you are a student, use the dropdown bar to select your name.

Hello - I just checked your custom pages and they are no longer locked. Always make sure that you are not logged in on 2 different computers and that when you are done using the TreeRing site you log off and close your browser.

    Hi,
I am creating a page in the middle of the yearbook (2 pages) and one side says: This side is for the cover and will not print. How do I get that gone?

Hi Karen - The page you are working on is not in the middle of your yearbook, it is currently the last page in your book (which must be a single page). This is because you need to keep adding new page spreads to get to the total pages for your yearbook. I added a blank page spread so you can see how the page spread locations can change. Here is a link to an article about adding page spreads: https://treering.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200303149-Adding-Page-Spreads

Hi Jill - You will need to remove the student's photo in Manage Portrait Auto Flow. Here is an article which will show you how to remove the portrait: https://treering.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000936686-Deleting-Photos-from-Portrait-Auto-Flow
