Creating Custom Pages With Auto Layout

Using auto layout when creating custom pages is a quick way to place photos on the pages.

1. Log in and either click on the book image or on 5. Edit Book

2. Select Auto-Layout

3. Select the style you want for your pages. Grid or Stylized.

4. Click on the photos you want to add to the pages and then Select.

5. The photos will flow onto the pages.

6. To move the pages to number 1-2, delete pages 1-2 by hovering over the pages and clicking on the trash can which appears in the lower left corner.  You can change the background of your pages by clicking on the pages and selecting the background tab.

Hi Carol - I have checked your account and you should be able to log in with your email and password. Your custom pages have not been edited so after logging in just click on the pages. You will then be able to drag and drop photos, graphics, and text onto the pages. When you are done make sure you set your pages to print ready so that the pages will be printed in your book!

I have two photos that have been attempting upload for 4 hours. Any suggestions?

    Hi Dana,
Definitely start over. It sounds like we probably had a failed internet connection during your upload. If it take more than a few minutes something is not connected and waiting longer will not help.

my photos are sitting in a pile on pages 1-2 but will not auto layout. I did the same thing for my other son and it worked fine. so frustrating

    Hi Rachel,
That's not cool at all. I'm not sure what happened. I just checked your account and was able to auto layout everything in Adam's folder. You can print ready your pages now if it looks ok to you.

once i choose the layout, can i not change the layout?

Hi Zaniah - When auto layout is selected then no, you can't change the layout of the pages. You may want to create the pages manually so that you can place photos, memories, graphics, and text where you want on the pages.

I am trying to customize my daughters yearbook right now. I selected auto layout, selected the photos but when it comes to viewing the page, nothing comes up. it is a completely blank page. I would like to preview it before submitting for print.

    Hi Heather,
I'm very sorry for the confusion. I just checked your account and I can see that Camryn's pages are auto laid out and looking good. Let me know if you're still having trouble or call our support line.

Hello - I can't seem to un-do anything. I'm trying to auto load and I can't find that option.

Hi Jeannine - You can delete the custom pages you have already created and start over with the Auto Layout process. This will enable you to auto-upload photos to the pages. Or you can continue editing your current pages.
