You can select and change themes and set styling defaults for photos, margins, and text. You can also enable page numbering and select the defaults for the numbers.
1. Log in and select Yearbooks and Edit Yearbook.
2. Select Style. Select Edit for the feature where you want to use a default setting. You can:
- change the theme of the yearbook
- select the default styling that will be applied to new photos and text
- set page margins
- set up automatic page numbers
Theme: Choosing a theme will set the default for backgrounds and graphics for your book. It only applies to newly created pages and will not change any pages already created. Pages are still 100% editable and themes can be mixed and matched. If you want to choose or change the theme, scroll through them and Select.
Photo Styles: This setting allows you to set the default styling when adding new photos to a page. You can set the Shape, Border, Shadow, Glow, and Caption fonts. It will not affect any photos/photo boxes already on the pages. Select Save after your selections.
You can also save additional presets for a quick way to apply styles to photos. The style preset will be added to the selections in the dropdown box.
Margins: Turn on this feature to set a consistent amount of space around the edge and center gutter. This will not move anything you have already placed on the page. After you enable the margins and go to a page, select a photo and the margin will appear preventing content from being moved into the outside margin area. Select OK after your selection.
Text Styles: This setting allows you to set the default styling when adding new text to a page. It will not affect any text/text boxes already on the pages. Select Save after your selections.
You can also create new text style presets for a quick way to apply styles to text already on a page. The style preset will be added to the selections in the dropdown box.
If you want every page numbered in the yearbook you can turn on Auto Page Numbers. Select Ok after your selections.
